Can I use my 2005 ford 4.7motor in my 2005
dodge ram 1500

I am guessing here..... that you are referring to the Ford 4.6 engine. While it would be an improvement over the Dodge engine it won't work due to all the computer sensors and wiring that would have to be engineered. Also mating a Ford power plant to a Dodge transmission would be difficult. If you used the Ford engine and transmission you would still have driveshaft issues. Could it be done? Yes, and likely cost many thousands of dollars.
