Selling question: I have a tentative buyer and am looking into how to complete a sale properly

Asked by spower89 Mar 28, 2019 at 10:26 AM about the Volkswagen Golf

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

If he does decide to purchase. Will CarGurus handle the entire process when i click the "Sell my car" button? What documentation will i need? I am still paying the car off. I assume i will get the check from the buyer and deposit it, then write a check to my financial institution that owns my car and then they will send me the title? Please let me know if I am missing something. Want to do this correctly.

Ask AutoPay. Do not assume you will get any money out of your car as you may be upside down. Find out what the balance is and then see what it is worth.
