Please identify model year, engine type and car model year.

Question type: General

I am in the process to buy a Peugeot 403 sedan. the owner claims that the original engine is fitted and the model year of the car is 1962. Can you help me identify if is is a matching numbers car, what year built and if the engine is the 1468cc or the smaller.
Engine No: 3265289, Body No: 2524150

They should be able to answer any questions you have regarding the authenticity of the vehicle.

Mark, thanks for your reply, but i was under the impression that the Peugeot 403 had a short thread plug ,if i am not mistaken it was champion L 87y or yc?? can you pls help me as the car is in sri lanks and i live here in Australia and i want to take some parts to Sri lanks in 3 weeks, Thank you
