1993 Cadillac Seville sts 32v norstar

Whirring sound, sounds like pulley side but
inside engine, what could it be, only at idle
disappears while driving. Almost like a dry
pump running sucking air kinda sound but
not sure

That would be the water pump making that noise, you need the water pump changed, bad water pump.
