1999 Cadillac Eldorado Electrical

Asked by kb62 Apr 25, 2013 at 03:23 PM about the Cadillac Eldorado

Question type: General

I bought a 1999 Cadillac Eldorado last year from a private dealer. I posted a noise question but have another problem. I noticed that the car has 2 choices to recall your seat position. Sometimes when I push the #1 to reset the drivers seat it affects the radio and today when I got in the car I pushed the #1 and it turned the radio on. This isn't a big problem just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. Thanks for any input you may be able to give me.

Some cars not only change the seat position but they also remember the radio, steering wheel and HVAC settings.

And more, pedal position, mirror position, the HUD on a caddy. The list is actually quite extensive on your car.
