Automatic Transmission issue - Why Not shifting the gear after 2nd?

My Pajero was working fine and all of a sudden i can see that in Drive mode
Pajero is not shifting gear after 2nd, only the RPM increases but gears are
not changing. If i switch to manual then everything works fine and i can see
the gears changing upto 5th and when slowing down automatically
downshifts.

But in Drive mode, the previous pickup is gone, i can see the RPM meter
goes high.

Pajero/Montero 3.5 V6
Petrol Automatic
Mileage: 71500 KM
Last Service: 70700 KM
