I don't think that's correct, because my 8V 1.25L Punto does 170 Km/h, even though the manual says it's 155.

what do you mean it doesnt exist, if it drives then its going to have a top speed

I mean, the 1.6 16s engine doesn't exist on this fiat punto. On this kind of fiat punto you have : 1.1 liter engine (55bhp) 1.2 60bhp 1.2 16s 85bhp 1.6 8s 90bhp 1.3 turbo 130bhp (punto GT) so.. no 1.6 16s in 98, and even for Fiat Grande Punto or Punto II, no 1.6 16s was mounted in so, are you sure you have this engine?

So with this engine, I guess you can reach 190kph, maybe 200kph with good conditions :)

actually the punto gt is a 1.4, 1372cc powered by a vl7 turbo, and does 0-60 in 7 seconds, and depending on what model of gt you haVE (gt1, gt2 or gt3) depends on what power you have as standard, gt1-133bhp, gt2-130 and gt3-128. y didnt you just do a gt conversion as i guarantee it would spank this!

i wanted a bigger engine that the 1.4 turbo so i had a 1.6 fiat bravo engine converted and now i have changed it again to a fiat coupe turbo engine and it is now the fastest thing i have driven and so far it has got to 145mph without a problem and was no where near the top end.

fair play mate u used 16vt or 20vt, as its quite a popular conversion nowadays in punto mk1 and2s

16vt at a guess...the 20vt is a bit bigger and requires a fair bit of cutting to the arches. Not particularly safe cutting body structures like that on any car. . .let alone a 10 year old one!
