near-side headlight and main beam not working

Bulbs ok.  fuses ok. spent sooo many hours now on the problem,  surely it should not be this hard trying to pinpoint  To start with I thought a simple bulb would do the job

seems like i have baffled the gurus its really beat me one would think i might have to scrap the car because of a silly headlamp

finally rectified the problem adding an earth wire from the light fitting and fixing to the earth of the battery
