My tire sensor in front sometimes will go from 0 to 99 or 80s when I am driving. Now my oil pressure says low oil pressure, and drops to 0. I have changed the sensor and it didn't fix the problem, could the 2 be related, like a wiring problem or something?

Tire sensor on front either goes way up, or drops to 0 while driving, and now oil pressure light is on. It has 200,000 miles but has been well maintained. It is a 2008 chevy 4wd with 5.3 vortec. I have changed the oil pressure sensor and it did not fix the oil light. It doesn't make any noises.

Probably the valve stem would needing replacing. They are a special valve stem for indicating tire pressure. About $5 buck plus what they want to install it.

Oil pressure: There is a screen under the oil pressure sending unit that has to be fished out and cleaned. It gets gummed up and gives false readings on the oil gauge.
