How can you tell the difference between a cavalier RS coupe and a Z24 ?

interior and exterior badging would be the easiest if they exist. The engines are different. The Z24 had a 2.4 liter DOHC 4 cylinder, while all the other models used the 2.2 liter.

good point. I based it off of the 1997 model listed in the heading. Prior body design that ended in 1994 would be a little harder to figure out since the RS and Z24 only had suspension differences. Oh, and the Z24 had a factory fiberglass ram-air hood. Body cladding more prevelent on Z24's too.

Will exterior parts such headlight covers that are labeled z24 parts fit on an LS Sport model? I’m pretty sure it has a z24 kit on it if that’s a real thing.
