Where to report against unprofessional service being provided by company Authorised Workshops/Dealers?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dear Sir,
I would like to seek your kind advice and suggestion regarding the
below stated problem of mine which happened with my car.
I had given my car in breakdown condition for repairing purpose to
Banerjee Ford, Durgapur, West Bengal,India on August 2016.Now in the
mean time after assessing my car's condition Mr.Ganesh Kundu, the Service
Advisor, intimated me of an exorbitant amount which I have to incur for the
repairing purpose that too without any assurance or guarantee. Moreover, he
also suggested that its useless to incur such a huge amount upon such an
old model car hence it would be better to throw the car either into garbage or
sell it out as scrap because as per his inspection report not a single thing is
ok in my car and everything has to be replaced.
Anyhow, now owing to such huge outrageous amount being quoted
to me, I decided not to proceed with the repair work but rather to take back
the possession of my car from the premises of Banerjee Ford.
Now on the very prior day of taking the possession of my car ie. on
12.04.18 upon my close inspection, I am utterly astonished to note and spot
that not only various parts of my car were missing but also the whole car has
been tampered with including the engine components in an amateur way
quite ghastly. Now upon raising all these issues promptly then and there
before the service advisor, I have been told that if a car lies for such a long
time in their premises, then its not only normal but also quite usual for the
parts to go missing in this way. Owing to his reply I denied from taking my
car from his workshop. Now post occurrence of this issue no solution has
been given to me with regard to who will compensate me for all these
missing expensive new parts.Sir,frankly speaking the whole car has been
turned into a dustbin and the car is lying in a dilapidated condition. Not a
single thing is left in the car with which tampering has not been done with
malafide intent. The car has been brought down to such a horrible condition
so that the car owner can easily be discouraged and demoralized and no
other option remains for the owner apart from either throwing the car into
garbage or sell it out as scrap.
Now its not only shocking but also quite gruesome to take
cognisance that these kind of cheap, mischievous, malevolent, fraudulent
malpractises are going on within the premises of an authorised workshop of
a reputed MNC conglomerate like Ford.
My car's registration no. is WB02 V1516 (Ford Fiesta Classic)
and chassis no. MAJBXXMRTB5EB1524.
Sir, owing to the occurrence of the above incident regarding the
missing of parts from my car I am not only sceptical but also quite distressed.
Hence, before taking the possession of my car from the premises of
Banerjee Ford I would like to get my car thoroughly checked and inspected
right from top to bottom with regard to any other missing parts by some
sound professional technician belonging either from Kaikan Ford or Ganges
Ford or from both or from any other workshop as you deem it fit. As because
my car is in breakdown condition hence it is difficult to be moved from one
place to another. Only after getting my car thoroughly inspected by your
professional qualified and knowledgeable technician I will be in a position to
furnish the complete details of various missing and stolen parts from my car.
Sir,I have already reported about the issue to the customer care division
of India.Though they have assured me of taking up the issue with the
concerned dealership but till now there is no fruitful reply from their end.
Hence, given the above circumstance would you please advice me that
regarding these kind of issues where a customer should report in order to
get some feasible and fruitful solution.
Hope you can understand my problem and will provide your kind
suggestion.

Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,

Hello vikramjit, I would advice you to hire an attorney for the incomplete work and missing parts. This is an quite extensive problem. To file a complaint against the companies involved go to your secretary of state or bbb. Good luck and keep me informed.
