Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replacing drum brakes on 89 Lesabre. Trying to find a diagram or video. I can
not figure out where the large spring goes. It only has 3 springs. 1 is for
adjuster arm. 1 hooks to the bottom of both shoes. No idea where the large one
Goes. Please help !!

Did you take both sides apart or only one? Use the other side as an example if you can!

That's what I was thinking. Unless I can find someone with an '89 LeSabre that would let me take their tire and drum off.

go to youtube and search 1989 GM drum brakes, it won't be LeSabre specific but enough to get an idea.
