The high compression 2bbl version of the 401 (called Wildcat 410) had 424 lb ft of torque. The 4bbl version of this engine (Wildcat 445) was rated at 445 ft lbs. -Eric Hanson (writer of Automusings and all around Buick guy-especially years 1963-1970)
