2008 Accent, won't start until I wiggle the gear shift?

My 2008 Accent wouldn't start, so I bought a new battery.  It has done this 2 times since
the new battery.  It is completely dead, it resets the radio, clock, and trip mileage.  I
wiggle the gear shift...it's automatic...and try the key and it starts?  I need to take a long
trip and I'm afraid to start out in it.  What's going on?  Thanks!

I believe there is a park position switch assembly on your vehicle. Have a mechanic check it to make sure it is making positive contact.
