Question type: General

What is the max trans temp in normal operation?

1 Answer

205

you really shouldnt see any more then 210 under normal operation. Maybe if your towing something you'll see about 230-250 if its heavy. i personally dont like to see above 220 though on a trans temp even towing. If your towing something thats max weight for the vehicle then thats the only time you should see higher then that. If your seeing higher then that on a normal basis then you need to either double up trans coolers or run a bigger better more efficient one. hope that helps.
