sounds like your torque converter isnt fully unlocking or some thing along those lines had a 07 ram 1500 that would lurch and kill the engine when Id try to stop turns out it was some solinoid that controls converter lock up

I have a 2010 dodge nitro an at 125,000 it blew a head gasket an the number 4 cylinder was already misfiring so I paid for a brand new crate engine 3.7 ltr an after 24,000 miles the engine rattled really loud an bad when cold I took it to the dealer they had it for a month now they replaced a head because they said a rocker arm fell of an it sucked a valve . I went to pick it up an it was missing real bad . I left the vehicle there at dealers an an told them to fix it . $12,000 later that the engine the number 4 cylinder is still missing.. should have replaced the computer also ?
