Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Tahoe. It started having issues
starting. Replaced starter checked battery. All
connections are tight. The vehicle will start 5 or 6
times. Then it will just click (engage) I take a screw
driver cross the Hotwire over on the starter and
then it will start up a few more times before
stopping again. What could it be?
