Check engine light

Asked by Mar 21, 2019 at 12:28 PM about the 2003 Saturn L300

Question type: General

The check engine light on my 2003 Saturn L300 is on and won't go off. There
doesn't seem to be any problems and the car runs great. What could my
problem be. The dealer where I take it seems to be guessing and costing a lot
of money with no fix. It's a Toyota dealership

Take the car to a car parts store nd have codes read; that might give you better direction. But, if this is the yellow CEL only, it could be that your gas cap is loose or defective. The car parts store can provide a new cap and that might cure your problem.

Agree with the parts store suggestion. Alternatively, go to a GM dealer (Chevrolet, Buick) as Saturn was a GM vehicle.
