Chevy Malibu 2004 front end vibration wheels over heating

Asked by GuruHYNDC Jul 07, 2019 at 11:04 AM about the 2004 Chevrolet Malibu

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When driving over 55mph the wheels vibrate
overheat and sometimes smoke I have
replaced hose, caliber, the  axle and it still
had the problem

Replacing the caliper and hose was a good idea. I would have also replaced the rotor which had to be warped from overheating, causing the vibration. I would replace the pads too because they can wear to a wedge shape, jamming up between the rotor and caliper.
