When I am parked the car goes to
2 to 3 rpm then decreases then
goes 3 rpm then decreases then
stalls as I'm about to take off then
takes all fast

Cynthia, do you have the 4.2 I6 engine? Probably so, clean your throttle body first. Unhook fuse #10 and #28 under the hood. Then remove the throttle body, clean with a rag and toothbrush with a sensor safe spray like Seafoam. This should be the first step, and it's the cheapest step.
