i some states you can get a title for an older car with just a bill of sale, the quickest way to find out is to call your local DMV and ask.

Not familiar with the local laws on getting the title, as mentioned check with your BMV. Are you planning on doing the clutch yourself? If you have never worked on a 944 I would be doing some research on how to do it because most people don't even know where the clutch is on a 944. Not putting you down, just giving you a heads up if you are doing it yourself.
