Wet driver side carpet

Asked by GuruBHQQM Jan 03, 2019 at 11:08 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The carpet on the driver side has been wet for over two months. I have had the drain tube from the windshield cleaned out. It has been inspected by a mechanic with no luck. Is my next step a dealer water pressure test and possibly a new windshield or resealing?

Or a bad door weatherstrip. Do this mix some shampoo with water in a spray bottle, turn the heater blower on high then spray around a the places you suspect to be leaking, watch for bubbles, even if you can't repair it yourself finding the leak will save you money.
