Putting refrigerant in my car

When I put the can of refrigerant to
the part under the hood the gange
points to the red warning section
what does this mean what do I do

well press the Schrader valve in to let some of the Freon out, you over charged the AC Capacity. Best to use Real AC Manifold Gauges , vacuum Pump system, after replacing the AC Dryer and new O rings, replace what ever part was leaking the Freon in 1st Place..< all this is correct Repair, but we all know costly.. the off shelf Freon kit is like using fix a flat for a flat tire, just a temporary quick fix. that wont last long.
