Fuses maybe??

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Torrent is having multiple problems. The windshield
wipers will not turn off, the open drivers door alert light
remains on even when I am certain the door is shut
securely, the interior light stays on, the turn signals are not
working and I am certain the bulbs are not blown, and the
radio remain playing for a short time even when I open the
drivers door and take the keys out of the ignition. Not sure
where to start looking and was hoping someone could
help me out.

Fuses wouldn't cause this type of trouble. I'd check the fuse panel itself for moisture, especially the back side of the panel. You may have a problem with multiple shorts. Another contender is a bad body control module.

BCM is definitely the issue- that and the fact that it's a Pontiac... hahaha... but seriously has the engine been subject to any unusual amounts water- like say being cleaned or being flooded?
