Replacing Coolant Reservoir

Asked by Ashlee Oct 14, 2020 at 12:31 AM about the 2007 Pontiac G6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bare with me here. I’m just now getting into
mechanical things.

I have a 2007 G6 that has a cracked coolant
reservoir that’s been duct taped together (from
previous owners)

And I was wondering if I could replace the coolant
reservoir with another out of a 2008 G6 and if it
would fit..

Or, if it is just cracked, it could be sealed with RTV or another adhesive.
