what are the specs on the racing stripes on the 66 GTO

im painting a 66 and need to know how wide and how far apart the stripes should be on the hood and trunck

You can put them any place that look okay. The 66 never came with stripes. Maybe you want to use a 70-72 GTO as a guide.

I suppose they can be whatever you want them to be, the 66 GTO had no type of racing stripes from the factory. Any that you may recall were added by the owner of the car. Enjoy the car, they are great vehicles and a lot of fun to own and drive.
