My initial thought. Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. Usually, you can use digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off. The generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts. if much below that get it charged. Then check your charging system. You can use meter at generator bat terminal, engine running, have helper turn on hi beams or turn signal, Maybe you can see if voltage drops before it dies. Generally, the battery starts the vehicle, then after it starts, the generator takes over the load. I suppose I could be barking up the wrong tree and there is a different issue than the ones I mentioned?

Headlight dim too on left side? Headlights, turnsignal, and fuel pump use the same ground. If that ground on left side of engine block isn't good, it will stall the engine with not enough fuel.
