1988 Mazda RX-7 convertible overheating

Antifreeze flow is poor to almost non existent, and we don't know what is causing it. The car was rebuilt by the previous owner, and we haven't had a problem with it before now. any possible answers would be much appreciated!!!!!

*Check for any leaks around the water pump.
