The fuse box is rusting out and I need to find a replacement, not an easy task. Any ideas who might have one of these?

My Daughters '88 Cabriolet needs a new fuse box.  We are located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada so I don't know if this 1.8L model is different than cars in other countries.  Thanks for your help.

Hello, Your best bet is to check online for this stuff. One parts site that might be helpful is this: http://replacement.autopartswarehouse.com/parts/autopartswarehouse/parts.jsp?year=1988&make=VW&model=RAB-C-002&part_name=null If you can't find it there, try calling; they should be able to help. Another place that can help dig up rarer parts is http://www.laceyusedautopartsinc.com/inventory/retail.htm. Again, if you can't find what you are looking for, you can submit a request for their aid. Best of luck! CarGrrl
