I want to convert my Jetta Sedan to a Tourer. Can any one help me with the details of the structural members to be strengthened before the Top can be removed ?

I would honestly not even attempt this conversion. Every sedan to convertible conversion I have ever seen was a monumental failure resulting in ruining a good car. These are a unibody design and there really isn't a way to strengthen them to be compatible with the loss of body integrity that will result from the removal of the top.
