Dear lisacharlie-- The problem with your 2007 Volkswagen Beetle could be any one of a number of things, like a faulty fan or thermostat. But aren't you still under warranty? Don't guess about the problem. Take it to the dealer. Good luck from Bovan.

Hey there, I just discovered this too on my 2006 beetle convertible. Did you find anything out, my nearest dealership for warranty work is 4 hours away. Thanks!
