Swerve indicator comes on for no reason.,

Asked by GuruJC7PB Jul 30, 2020 at 02:18 PM about the 2007 Dodge Magnum

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I start my car and the swerve indicator warning comes on and stays on. This forces the engine down to 35 mph. It does this for no reason from a dead start.

For sure, scan it. My dodge does that too. I got a vacuum leak and computer thinks it's something worse. Its throwing your car into limp mode.

Hell, could be a vacuum leak actually..take look with it running, see if you can hear anything. We have the same engine I'm betting. Check your egr favor tube too. That one LOVES slipping past its seating area

Master Pro Ignition 3 Terminal Camshaft Position Sensor the part and under $40 dollars. I have 2008 Magnum and mines kept coming on until i changed it out.
