Question type: Maintenance & Repair

OK so I had a super strong running ram 50
with the 2.6. I did a oil pump job and now I
can't get it to run right...I can get rough idle
and when I pull #1...#3 wires off the
distributer absolutely nothing changes I
know I'm getting good skark and it is new
wires and plugs...I did not break the timing
on can..

Check the coil pack in the distributor cap, if pulling those wires changes nothing, sounds like you need new coils. That, or the dreaded computer.

Well its a 1986 and only y has one coil that I'm aware of. But anyway I figured it out I had those two wires crossed thanks for the response though
