after pickup was sitting for three months the transmission was leaking. Do any of the prevent leak items at the auto store work?

Sometimes you may get lucky using one of those magic in a bottle products. The best bet always is to repair the leak.

The real problem is finding someone to do the repair for under a million. When you say 4 wheel drive the price just climbs. Thank you for the response.
