Does a coronet 69 front hood fit a 68.

I'll be painting my 68 coronet superbee in the next month. I'm trying to keep it as original as I can. Someone local has a 69 coronet superbee hood with the 69 scoops. The 68 was plain,I would like to paint both hoods and put the 69 hood on, for now. I don't know if it will fit.

the 69 hood will fit.68 hoods were flat or had what was called a Power Bulge.the bulge hood was a non-functional scoop style hood that has 2 chrome trim pieces.In 69,hoods included flat,bulge,ram-air (functional twin scoops).69 1/2 models had a fiberglass lift-off hood.the 69 1/2 will fit also with correct hardware.
