i am trying to fix up my 1991 240. 289,000 miles on it.- is it worth it?

i love 240's. its my second 1 and i do not want to get rid of it but it needs so much work and i dont know if i should just dump money into it

What repairs are actually needed? And at sub 300k, your car is still a baby!

Does it still drive ok ? If it does then keep it. I think they are great cars.

i have an 85 with 99% rusted rocker pannels and i had to patch the floor behind the front seat, if you dont have those problems then its definatly worth keeping it to fix it autopartswarehouse.com is a good website for parts

GL's r awesome and last for ages. use fairly good quality parts and ur sweet its how my car's been goin and i've got it at 737,000 km's totally worth it

My general rule with any car is if its not rusting, then fix it up. Volvo 240s last forever regardless.
