How can I remove a stripped 17mm manual transmssion drain plug?

If its an internal hex key-type plug just scratch two sides opposite one another until you can turn it with a large flat-head screwdriver. If it is just a rounded off bolt head there are a number of kits available that can help you remove it, just search online, or you can just use a 15 or 16mm socket and hammer it on.
