1991 vw vanagon

oil light comes on when i apply the brake and the clutch while preparing to stop.  goes off when I
release both and apply gas to go.  the oil level checks normal.  this does not happen until i run
the van for about 15 minutes then it does this every time i stop.

you need to get some one to put a old pressure gauge on it to check the pressure to make sure noting is wrong in side the motor then go from there

thx so much! what with being a girl, i had no idea what was going on with my beloved "hippie van." will make arrangements to have oil pressure checked. hope it is not the engine! that will be sad!
