i bought a jetta from a lien sale

the car wont start with the key because it isnt the original key with the alarm.I can push start it but  the lights stay on in the dash so it wont pass smog .How do i fix it so the key starts the car and the stupid lights stay off ? (check engine fuel etc those lights)

go to dealer to get a new key made, it is the only way to get a new chip key
