Hi i have 1996 passat   and i m loooking for the fuel filter not the one next to the gas tank,Im looking for the one  in some were  in the engene...anyone  know were is that fuel filter located???

my 98 has one under the car in front of the rear passenger tire, attached to the fuel line. It's just a small cylinder covered by a black metal protective casing.
