Is it difficult & complex to repair a 2002 cabrio

I've done a lot of work on vw beetles (old ones) and have an 82 Vanagon that I'm repairing
and getting road ready.  Is a Cabrio much more difficult to maintain & repair than either of
those two?

very much so, from 82 to 2002 millions in research and development was pushed all for the sake of improvements in economy , clean burn, and power, that comes with very high tech design and the parts to control it. first thing is trade your wrenches for electrical diagnostic stuff
