Yeah I just sold a 2002 Pontiac Firebird V6 3800 model engine and I went through, I was on my third mass air flow sensor right before I sold it and if you went to O'Reilly Auto Parts to get your throttle position sensor or mass air flow sensor like I did you made a big mistake I'd recommend getting the GM Factory throttle position sensor an original OEM GM part I remember mine was manufactured in Japan that might make a difference 4 GM , that's your best bet cuz I had to replace that once a throttle position sensor in my Saturn and I went to a GM auto dealership it was a Chevrolet dealership and put it in no problems I drove her for I don't know 50 60 thousand miles so you're probably putting in aftermarket cheap parts from O'Reilly even if they give you a warranty you could go through hell so you might as well just get the GM that's my recommendation.
