how can you tell wich cam is intake or exaust?

i think i got my cams mixed up in my 2002 saturn sl2 how can you identify the
cam so you know wich one is the intake and the other exuast before i reinstal
them

Well I would think the lobs on the cams line up different to the exhaust & intake valves. You look at the location of the valve, the ones over the exhaust ports, where the exhaust manifold is bolted to the head, of coarse are exhaust valves.

The exhaust valve is the closest to the exhaust manifold.
