I was getting on the freeway
today, and as I stepped into it and
the transmission went to
downshift, it completely stopped
responding. No drive or reverse,
what could of happened. Luther

may be time to change fluid/screen. if not enough fluid flows, wont shift. im doing it to mine, because I have the same problem. im doing it this morning to my 2005 Taurus. I hope thats my fix. if not, out comes the checkbook!!! good luck sir.Try visiting youtube, i found helpful videos on all cars, just look for them. once again, good luck

im hoping the change works, it was fine before, then it went into neutral, like some linkage lost a bolt. And the fluid is dark black
