Can I put a transmission from a 2002 dodge ram
1500 into a 2001 dodge ram 1500  if they are both
automatic and have 5.2 liter engines?

ask your local shop for advice on the conversion, the technician should give a price around $750 to do this and they should know what other parts may be needed for the job.
