Why are my rpms running around 2500 rpm in od doing 65 mph?

Im haveing problems with my 97 dodge 1500 5.9. I had a P0783 code and it
wasn't shifting well into 3rd an OD so I got a full solenoid service kit from
cascade transmission and replaced all those and my 3-4 accumulator spring
as my old one ended up being snapped. Now it shifts into all gears just fine
but my rpms are still a little high when im in OD. they're around 2500 rpm when
im doing 65-70 mph but before my transmission started acting up doing 65-70
mph the rpms would be around 2100. Any help or suggestions on what to
check would be great.

I can feel my transmission lock and unlock plus I can see it on my tach. You probably should ask a transmission repair shop about this.

What do you mean lock and unlock? its goes into od. I have a video of whats it doing that would probably help to see but idk if I can post it on here.

When a torque converter locks and unlocks it can feel like the transmission is shifting gears. You should notice a 200 or 300 rpm drop when the converter locks up. That is what my truck does. The torque converter locking makes my 4 speed auto feel like it has a fifth speed.

Ya maybe it is locking then I can notice the rpms dropping a little after its been in 3rd its just the rpms are a little high. other then that the trucks runs great and no CEL light has come on again.
