Ram differential play

Asked by Oct 06, 2017 at 11:34 AM about the 2002 Dodge Ram 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2002 dodge ram. How much play in the axle is
normal. Pulled the brakes off the back and picked
up on just the axle. Both clank up and down but I
can't see where it's moving.

I think you need to install new wheel bearings. There should not be any play that you can feel.
