Premium gas has a higher octane rating and burns cleaner, better on injectors and engine components. Non ethanol gas is better for an engine as ethanol gums up the fuel delivery system without adding additives to keep it clean.

Totally disagree, regular unleaded "top tier" gas is best for your Dodge. Do a google search for top tier gas.

Does top tier gas have ethanol in it? If it does, their premium must be real good without the ethanol...

I have never had any issue with ethanol gas. Top tier gas refers more to the additive package than the type of fuel. I have tried premium in my 2014 Ram Hemi and there was zero benefit that I could discern by using premium. All that I noticed was my wallet was a bit flatter from the increased cost of the higher grade fuel.
