Catalytic converter glowing red, new parts installed

Asked by GuruDKL5G Sep 08, 2017 at 02:28 PM about the 2001 Chrysler Town & Country

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Chrysler Town and country
3.8L. It started out running rough even
during driving, has cut off but immediately
cut back on. It has brand new spark plugs
brand new wires and also two brand new
coil packs which have had to be replaced
because for some reason they keep cracking
whatever it is is making my catalytic
converter glowing red and smell like it's
burning on fire even if you just crank it up for
a minute. We have had p0353 p1193 and
P0135 show on the computer which we have
replaced but it's still not running right can
someone please help me?!
