I had the same issue with my 2002 pt. It would also drain my battery. after my 3rd tow the tow driver removed the fuse for the fog lights on the side pannel and i never had an issue again and the lights worked great.
sounds like a wire under the hood is pinched from the engine replacement which will cause a short to power
Had motor replaced, now Headlights only work on bright and at times one shorts out. Checked all bulbs,..... Any suggestions?
